Facilities

High speed internet:   Up to 10 mb speed available throughout the property. (Phone lines are also available for those staying long-term.) Note: In many local areas the norm is to wait months to get a phone line, but here at Hotel Perico waiting for a phone line will only take a few days as opposed to months! Not only that, but the phone lines will be quality fiber optic lines with very good internet and phone service.

Solar-heated swimming pool: We have a large swimming pool, 14 meters by 7 meters (44ft x 22 ft) which is ideal not only for recreational use, but also for swimming laps. (For further heat insulation we cover the pool at night with a "solar blanket".)

Large Terraza and BBQ areas: A terraza adjacent to the swimming pool is available to our hotel guests. The terraza is equipped with a complete kitchen, tables and chairs and a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding countryside.

Satellite TV: All the apartments have Mexican Dish TV with a number of English channels available.

Free phone calls to the US/CanadaHotel Perico has the highest package with Telmex which means unlimited phone calls to Mexico as well as the US and Canada. So our tenants are welcome to drop by the reception and make free phone calls.

Laundry Facilities: Laundry facilities are available at Hotel Perico for just 10 pesos per load for the washing machines and 20 pesos per load for the dryers.  (Taking advantage of the sunny clime, clotheslines are also available for free use.)

Maid Services: Cleaning service is not included in the weekly or monthly rentals, but if you require maid service it's available for the minimal cost of 40 pesos per hour.

Green areas / Eco-Friendly:  There are a lot of green areas and trees on our beautiful 4-acre property, so living at Hotel Pericois living close to nature.  Installing solar water heaters is one of our steps towards being more eco-friendly.

Quiet and tranquil: Hotel Perico is located on the Libramiento or bypass road, about 2 miles from Walmart. It's situated on a hill overlooking Lake Chapala and there are no neighbours -- only farmers. So the hotel is very quiet compared to Chapala and Ajijic.
